	About Us Little Butterfly was inspired by the lack of availability of good traditional quality educational toys for babies and toddlers. We are a family run business supplying toys to aid your child’s development. Our products will help your child to recognise colours and shapes, sorting and counting, develop fine motor skills and develop their imaginative skills. As parents we discovered that there was a lack of good traditional wooden toys which our grandparents would remember! We bring you a selection of what we consider to be the finest wooden toys, gifts and childrens room products. Our main criteria when selecting products is quality, bright and colourful, safety, non toxic paints, educational, fair trade and the environment. The name little butterfly was chosen, as to us it represented freedom, nature, vibrant natural colours, which signified the products we sell. Some products are from fair trade suppliers and are made from organic and environmentally friendly materials. Products are sourced from BAFTS recognised importers (The British Association for Fair Trade Shops). This is a network of independent fair trade shops across the UK. This is where we source our fair trade suppliers. BAFTS promote fair trade retailing in the UK, seek to raise the profile of fair trade on the High Street and provide a point of contact and communication for the exchange of ideas amongst members.
